I wrote this song while at UMASS Amherst. It was around the time Napster and file sharing was becoming a thing. I had uploaded the song to my iTunes library one night, and unknowingly shared it with my entire dormitory floor. Next thing I knew, people were coming to my door and singing the chorus to me.
